Welcome to the original, simple and complete version of Blue Economy. Since I started the Blue Economy in 2004 as "ZERI in Action", hundreds of people have helped make content available to many. The book is translated into 35 languages, is the subject of animated films and several documentaries. If you who read this didn't connect and share, we wouldn't be here today. I want the Blue Economy to be an open source community that inspires the young at heart and old to become entrepreneurs who want to make a difference. As the world evolves, the content around the Blue Economy should grow without limitation, knowing that we have a responsibility to navigate between fantasy and reality, over vision. The cases that I publish, first for the book presented in November 2009, and then supplemented by my regular updates, are the result of a dialogue with people. Brilliant ideas are not the product of genius, but the culmination of dialogues with open-minded people who care to share. My purpose is to share.

Gunter Pauli has unveiled 200 innovations that celebrate scientists and entrepreneurs, focusing on breakthrough technology. The 100 cases have been published through multiple media around the world. Daily updates of existing and new cases are presented via Gunter's Twitter account <@MyBlueEconomy>. Based on 20 years of experience in the field, the time has come to provide depth and empowerment through innovative and creative proposals. We want to make sure more people have the mindset and ability to implement these advancements while understanding how these new business models came about. That's why starting in January 2015, the ZERI Foundations and partner network around the world will publish 100 groups, sharing how it all started, who provided the academic leadership, and where the game-changing entrepreneurs are.
